4x growth on hard mode: FBM only, no Subscribe & Save.
A founder-led fermented foods brand that ships every jar itself. No FBA, no Subscribe & Save, none of the flywheel Amazon hands FBA brands. Eighteen months later: a roughly $150K January, up 156% year over year, on the back of a seven-figure 2025.

The brand
Olive My Pickle
Olive My Pickle is a founder-led fermented foods company out of Jacksonville, Florida: live-culture pickles, sauerkraut, and kimchi with a genuinely devoted gut-health audience, 600+ reviews averaging 4.9 stars, and a strong direct-to-consumer business. On Amazon it is an FBM operation in an FBA world, and the channel had settled into a plateau nowhere near the brand’s ceiling.

Where things stood
Hard mode, by default.
01
Fulfilled by merchant only: a live-culture product the brand has to ship itself. FBA was never an option.
02
No FBA, and no Subscribe & Save, period. The subscription flywheel every CPG playbook leans on was off the table before we started.
03
Without a native subscription baseline, growth had to come from stronger conversion, smarter pack architecture, paid-to-organic rank gains, and repeat behavior earned by the product.
04
Premium price points in a commodity-heavy category, with advertising too starved to move rank where shelf position compounds.
What we did
Growth without the crutches.
01
Campaign architecture rebuilt, then ad investment deliberately scaled roughly 5x into a managed TACoS band, trading a starved 10% for rank, volume, and owned demand.
02
Multipack architecture engineered to do the job Subscribe & Save could not: bigger baskets, better contribution margin, and repeat behavior the product earns on its own.
03
Conversion creative across listing images, A+ Content, and the storefront that finally told the live-culture story shoppers were paying a premium for.
04
A weekly KPI cadence tying every dollar of spend back to total-account economics, so paid momentum kept converting into organic rank.

How it played out
The result.
Monthly Amazon sales grew from roughly $38K at engagement start to a roughly $150K January eighteen months later, with January alone up 156% year over year. 2025 closed as a seven-figure Amazon year at $1.06M.
Every dollar of it was earned the hard way: fulfilled by merchant, with no Subscribe & Save program compounding in the background. Organic sales grew from $21K to $49K a month and orders 4x’d, because the listings, the packs, and the rank did the retaining.

In their words
“Working with the Elev8 team has been a game changer for our Amazon business. They leave no stone unturned in terms of optimizations… and their design work for the brand has been stellar. Would give 6 stars if I could.”
